I didn't need to do that with my dress because the allover lace masked the bones. Also, I believe Susan Khalje's Bridal Couture book is now available on CD if you need any guidance with the boning. Just sew the channels without the boning in and add the boning after. They have it at that same website you linked to, and I've purchased it from them before.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08679998588660500127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681346101577849329.post-48310848291681946122010-06-02T13:52:18.637+02:002010-06-02T13:52:18.637+02:00>>Ulrike: Thank you for the insightful input...>>Ulrike: Thank you for the insightful input! It breaks easily creating nasty bends on the bodice you'll never get rid off. I would use narrow (5 mm) spiral boning. It is flexible but very durable. Plus it is flat and light and won't show on the outside. The only disadvantage is that it needs a separat channeling and you better not hit it with your sewing needle... But a wedding dress is definitly worth the effort.Ulrikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16642575678973172973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681346101577849329.post-8417162055927525282010-06-02T13:32:22.879+02:002010-06-02T13:32:22.879+02:00>>Annet: LOL!>>Annet: LOL!Johanna Luhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13829280594947262409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4681346101577849329.post-66240943477679855962010-06-02T13:18:32.842+02:002010-06-02T13:18:32.842+02:00i don't really have an idea but i have to admi...i don't really have an idea but i have to admit that the title of this post made me chuckle a bit!Annekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06685471808997698424noreply@blogger.com
