A video clip of my judge performance

For those who want to see exactly how height impaired I am compared to most Swedes and also hear my voice around 1.45 min in (yuck!). I had to be the judge MC during the night  because no one else wanted to. I don't have stage fright, but am not entirely relaxed either.

  1. You sounded great...I have no idea what it is you were saying :) but you sounded very clear and well spoken and looked very much
at ease on stage :) and oh my these are very tall people :)

  2. You do have a very clear voice - I've only been speaking Swedish a couple of years but found you much easier to understand than many other Swedes. The worst thing is when I get on the phone to Försäkringskassan and have to speak to someone from their call centre in Skåne!

Love your black & white dress by the way.

  3. Ann: Yes these people are a bit taller than usual, but Sweden are on the top 5 list of countries with the tallest population in the world. I don't think being 160 cm (5.3") is that short really but I am always baffled when I see myself in pictures with other people!

Tineke: LOL, I can imagine skånska being hard, I've even heard native Swedes complaining that they don't understand it! Thank you about the dress, I made it a couple of years ago

  4. Love it! Your voice sounds so alto to me! Move to the U.S. and blend in more with the 5'4" average women's height. ;)
