70 needles for 10 kronor (like $1.30). That has to be a fantastic deal, right?
Well if you like really bendable needles I guess you won't be disappointed.
But as for me I need to learn that buying sewing notions from the grocery store's bargain bin is seldom a good idea.

I learned it the right way too. They can send you sewing machine to service!
ReplyDeletelin3arossa: Oh my, that was a rough deal! Deep down I guess we know what to expect, but the lure of the deal can blind our sight!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more. I bought some hand sewing needles from Susan Khalje and they are really wonderful to use.
ReplyDeleteNancy K: Yes, there are really a difference between needles and needles and good ones will last pretty much forever, so you clearly did a much better purchase than I did.
ReplyDelete*sigh* You've just reminded me of my 6 zippers for £1 deal at the pound shop a few years ago. They seemed fine, but the pulls were just so stiff and ornery, and then the one in my handbag lining pocket broke and I had to replace it by hand. So not worth it!
