We didn't book anything in advance, the only plan we had was a rough sketch on which islands we wanted to visit, the rest we made up as we went. Luckily we had no problems finding rooms and boat tickets so the trip was pretty hassle free, despite the minimal planning. We visited four islands, Naxos, Amorgos, Antiparos and Paros and they all had their own brand of charm, some were more touristy and some more rustic.

(a bit hungover from celebrating my 38th birthday the day before!)

Glad you had a great trip! Wow, look at those blues -- the water, the sky, the other water... inspirational! Good luck with your transition back to non-holiday life.
