Not much sewing going on this week as I've been totally spent. But I've finally started on the crafty swap that I have with my friend Anita. It's been a long hiatus (she has bought a house and gotten a new job - I have just been procrastinating). Enough is enough however, so on Monday I opened a parcel of 40 eyelets and started to hammer like crazy. The tunic is looking seriously goth and totally outside my own comfort zone aesthetically, but I think it's gonna be wicked once finished. There will be ties running through the eyelets to create a kind of "new romantic/pirate" puff above the elbows.
